History of Redline Company
Redline Company was set up by Line Lyster and Alison Redfern in 2004 who met while working in the marketing department for a large real estate agency on the Coast. Alison was copywriting for brochures, proof reading and dealing with the UK and Spanish Press and Line started by taking a position as a Graphic Designer but was quickly promoted to become the Senior Marketing Manager, leading a team of eight people.
Having worked together successfully within the company they decided to set up Redline Company using their varied talents and experience to set up a company which could meet that needs of the market in all areas of marketing and design. As like-minded individuals with complementary skills Alison and Line decided to bring to Marbella a design and marketing company that would work closely with clients to produce high quality work efficiently.
Redlline has now been running successfully for 5 years and has expanded in to many areas. Early in 2009 Alison decided she wanted to explore other options and sold her share of the company to Line. They remain on extremely good terms and the split has been amicable and for the benefit of them both and the company.
Line has therefore taken over the full running of the company, building on the success that she and Alison have achieved over the last 5 years and has expanded the Redline team to include other highly skilled people to offer an all round service to clients.
Redline works closely with other highly qualified professionals in order to provide a complete marketing service, using only people we know and trust and whose work we value. This ensures that the Redline philosophy of professional, efficient work is carried out with all our services. These include, to name but a few, all aspect of marketing and advertising, printing, merchandising, leaflets, editorial, press liaison, brochures, logo design and much more.
Meet the Team
Line Lyster – Director
 Line studied International Business Communication at Niels Brock Business School in Copenhagen - a study integrating marketing, graphic design, production of commercials (video) and writing.
Her first Marketing job was in a Course Centre in Helsingør in Denmark generating and liasing with the press. This was followed by a promotion to Marketing Manager at JAI, producing cameras, where she was involved with all aspects of their marketing on an international scale, from designing brochures, press liaison, website and organising exhibitions.
Line also broadened her horizons by working on International Cruise Ships travelling all over the world, through Europe, Asia and the Caribbean. She worked as a professional tour guide in Turkey and lived in Argentina where she learned Spanish fluently.
With this skill Line decided to move to Spain in 2002 where she took a position as Graphic Designer at Ocean Estates before becoming Senior Marketing Manager, leading a team of eight people.
 Lulu Beretta
Graphic Design
Lulu comes to Redline with a wealth of experience from being in the business over 10 years. Lulu studied Graphic Design at the University of Buenos Aires and also Studied Photography – she then went on to do win coveted places to train at both Ogilvy and Mather Worldwide and JWT World Wide training in visual production and in Art Direction.
Before coming to Spain Lulu worked for companies in Buenos Aires and then for Total Brand in California producing all their graphic design work and promotional pieces. Arriving in Marbella in 2003 she started work at Artegrafia where she was in charge of graphic design, production and quality control. Having worked there for 3 years she moved on to work with Engel and Volkers and then joined Eurodimension as their Art Director where she designed newspapers, magazines, webpages, logos, promotional material. She also created Creative campaign and co-ordinated the application of the Campaign. Over the past year Lulu chose to work on a freelance basis using her skill as a photographer and working on promotional material for a variety of companies.
Lulu loves to keep up to date with all the latest of everything; technology, design and loves to be constantly learning. With the wide variety of work Redline do, Lulu is a very welcome addition to our team and is sure to be an asset to the company with all the skill and experience she brings.
Jacqui Braithwaite
Research, Marketing, Public Relations, Copywriting.
Jacqui has spent most of her working life in advertising, designing and publishing of some kind. Brought up in Spain she returned to the UK for her later schooling and University. She then started off her career life in small marketing company in North London and then went on to work in some of London´s top advertising agencies including JWT, CDP and BHWG. A few years ago missing the place she will always regard as home and where her family are still based, she returned to Spain to take a position with Cache magazine. She worked there until it changed hands in 2008. Since then she´s been employed in a variety of positions, working in publishing Hope Magazine here on the Coast, being a researcher at TRE radio station and doing the Advertising and Marketing for an Estate Agent in San Pedro.
Jacqui´s knowledge of marketing comes from years of experience both here and in London and her unique knowledge of the Coast gives her that extra edge. Having worked in a wide variety of jobs she likes to think she has a unique versatility which means nothing phases her.
Annika Östman
Annika studied the Information & Public Relations programme at the Mid Sweden University. Her main interests obtained from her years of studies are marketing related, strategic communications and event management.
Prior working at Redline she worked as Spanish teacher in her home country Sweden, which helped her to improve the language before moving to Spain where she worked as a retail store salesperson. During her studies she has also worked as a Spanish interpreter for the city council of Sundsvall, Sweden. This way she integrated her two passions; PR and languages.
Charles Gubbins - Business Coach
Charles is a dynamic and is successful in business coaching and who has a long and impressive history having worked in large international companies such as Reckitt Benckiser, Rothmans and Gallaher Tobacco. As a seasoned General Manager, Charles has significant experience in all business functions, having developed and grown business in many countries across the world.
